Problem

The TDM PC player shows an error at random times on a mostly daily basis. This errors sometimes occurs on certain PC players and comes from the ticker tape.

The cause of this is usually bad or old video drivers or a corrupt DirectX installation.

Solution

The easiest way to resolve this is to use the High Quality Tickertape. The drawback of this solution is that this feature is quite heavy and can result in lower performance.

To activate the High Quality Ticker tape you can go to the Dashboard → Player overview and click on the the player that is causing the errors. Go to the tab Advanced and select the High Quality ticker tape

This error is resolved since version 3.6.2 of the PC Player. Please check your version and upgrade if necessary.
