How to use the TDM Reseller portal
As a reseller you have access to the TDM reseller portal. From this portal you will have the ability to create new customers, add demo licenses, add new licenses or extend existing licenses.
This guide will explain how you can create new accounts, add demo licenses, add new licenses or extend existing licenses.
Requirements
If you want to use the TDM reseller portal you need to meet the following requirements:

Customer overview:
Once logged in you will be re-directed to the customer overview. In this overview you will find all your TDM customers.On the right-hand side, you will find the available licenses in your account. Once you have ordered TDM licenses they will become available in this overview. This window will be visible from all tabs in the reseller portal.
Activate License code:
From the tab “Activate License code” it is possible to activate license codes received from your distributor, once you fill in your license code and run the check the license will automatically be added into your available licenses.Promotion Material:
In this tab you will find some brochures which can be shared with customers, we will update the brochures in case any new brochures will become available.Contact Details:
It is possible to display your contact details for your TDM customers, this way customers know who to contact in case they have any questions. Once you update the contact details the details in the footer of the designer will change.
TDM Reseller Portal – Creating a new account
From the customer overview it is possible to create new customers and manage the licenses of your TDM customers, to create a new customer select “Create New Customer”.
In this new window you need to fill in the company details of your customer, please note that the company you choose will also be used for the time zone.
Player credentials:
The player credential details contain the details which are needed to register PC players, please note that they will also become visible in the designer account.
Administrator Details:
The administrator details contain the login information for the designer, please note that they will not remain accessible after the account has been created. This means you need to copy the login details.
Once all the information has been entered select “Save”.Once the account has been created you will be re-directed to the customer overview, the account will be visible in the overview. Once you select the customer from the customer overview you will be forwarded to the page which contains all the details of the customer.
TDM Reseller Portal – How to activate your license key
It is possible to activate your license key from the reseller portal, to do this select ‘Activate Licensecode’ from the top menu.
Enter the license code you have received in the input field and select ‘Check Licensecode(s)’
In case the license is valid it will return the amount of licenses which will be added to your reseller portal, in case this is correct select ‘Add Licenses’.
The licenses will be added to your reseller portal and you can use the license to extend an existing license or add the license as a new license to one of your end users.
TDM Reseller Portal – Adding or extending licenses
It is possible to add two demo licenses with a duration of 30 days to your customer, this will give them the ability to test the software. To add the demo licenses please select “Demo Licenses”.
From the window which will open you can assign the demo licenses:
In case you already ordered licenses for your customer it is possible to add or extend them with the “Add Licenses” or “Extend Licenses” options.
Add Licenses:
Once you select “Add licenses” you will be forwarded to a new page, from this page it is possible to tick/untick the licenses you want to add to your customer. Once you have selected the licenses you want to add select “Add”.Extend Licenses:
Once you select “Extend licenses” you will be forwarded to a new page, from this page it is possible to extend existing licenses. After each license you will find a “Extend license” button, with this button you can extend the license with one or three years.
TDM Reseller Portal – How to login as a customer
With the new update of the reseller portal it is possible to login with specific user credentials of your customer, to be able to do this the user should grant permissions to the reseller to be able to login.
At the “Customer overview” page you will find a login button next to each customer account, with this button you have the possibility to login as a customer.
Once you open the page you will see an overview of all the accounts which have granted permissions to login with their credentials.
In case this is empty and the login page does not contain any logins, it is because the customer has not granted the permissions yet. In this case, please contact the customer and ask if they agree the usage of their account by the reseller. If they agree please ask them to tick the option described below.
Please ask the customer to login to the Designer with an administrator account: https://designer.tdmsignage.com
Select “Config Panel”.
Select the tab called “Authentication Options”.
Tick the option called “Reseller is allowed to login”.
Once the option is ticked by the customer please refresh the page and the login of the customer should become visible.
