2.2 - How To install apps from TEOS Manage

With TEOS it is possible to install or update apps on your devices, this guide contains the steps to do this.

Requirements

If you want to install or update apps from TEOS you need to meet the following requirements:

  • Have access to the following tab in TEOS Manage: Site Management > Service Management

 

 

  1. Login to your TEOS environment



  2. Open the following tab: Site Management > Service Management



  3. To install or update an app select the Android icon in front of the device, you can also tick multiple devices and install or update multiple devices at once using a group action.



  4. A pop-up will be opened, with the ‘Test ADB’ button you can verify if the server is connected with the device, if not it will return ‘Offline’ or ‘Unauthorized’. If one of these messages is returned please check the device to verify if ADB has been enabled and if the connection has been authorized.



  5. Afterwards you can follow the instructions shown in the pop-up and select the version you want to install from the drop-down list. In case the version is not shown you can choose ‘Browse’ to upload a custom version.



  6. Once you have selected the version you can hit ‘Next’ and the version will be installed on your device, wait until the message ‘Succesfull installed’ is shown and then close the pop-up.
