How To setup a Realworks data source
TDM offers the ability to add external data sources. With these data sources TDM offers the ability to display real-time information within your presentation. TDM offers support for the following external data sources:

Twitter
Instagram
Yahoo Weather
Office365 Calendar
Google Calendar
Flickr
Yammer
LinkedIn
Exchange
Power BI
NS
Axis (People Counter camera)
HIKVision (People Counter camera)
Amadeus
Realworks
This guide will explain how the Realworks data source can be added, please note that the Realworks data source is supported from version 4.4 and above. To pull the information from Realworks we use their API. In case you do not have access to this API yet please contact Realworks before proceeding with this manual.
Requirements
If you want to add a Realworks data source you need to meet the following requirements:
Have administrator access to the TDM designer
Have access to the Realworks CRM to link our developer ID to your Realworks environment.
Require TDM version 4.4 or above
How to generate your custom token from the Realworks dashboard:
Please login to the Realworks CRM.
Open the API configuration section in Realworks CRM and enter the following “Developer ID”:

Before you can continue we need to accept the request to link your Realworks environment to our developer account. Once we have accepted the request we can retrieve the customer token which is needed to create the Realworks data source in the designer.

How to create the Realworks data source in the designer
Please login to the designer with an administrator account: https://designer.tdmsignage.com
Select “Config Panel”.
Select the tab called “External Data”.
Select the “+” button on the right side to create a new data source.
In the pop-up which will open you can fill in a name for your data source and then select the “Realworks” data source. Once selected, click “Next”.
In the next window you need to enter your custom token, once filled in select “Save”.
Now that you have successfully created a Realworks data source, it is possible to preview the information of the data source with the “eye” icon in front of the data source.
