2.0 - How To set-up SMS and email configuration

TEOS Manage has support for sending emails and text messages, to be able to sent these messages you will need to define your Spring account or your emailaddress for sending emails.

Requirements

If you want to configure SMS or setup the email configuration you need to meet the following requirements:

  • TEOS Manage installed

  • Access to TEOS web interface: Server Management > Settings

  • Available Spryng account for using SMS

  • Available email address for configuring email settings

1) Log into TEOS manage and navigate to the “Server Management” Menu

2) In this menu Click on “Settings”

3) The settings which we need for SMS can be found in the “TEOS Reception Settings”, for email please skip to step 6.

4) Here you can find the settings concerning SMS, select the pencil behind the setting to set adjustment to these settings.

For SMS you need the following information, currently only the provider “Spryng” is supported:
-Username
-Password

In the “SMS content to employee” you can customize the text which will be sent to the employee when there visitor has arrived.

5) The email configuration can be found in the “E-mail configuration” part:

6) Here you can find the settings concerning email, select the pencil behind the setting to set adjustment to these settings.

For setting up email you need to fill out the following information:
-Host
-Port
-SSL/No SSL
-Username
-Password

Once this has been filled out TEOS is able to sent server-alerts and email notifications when using TEOS reception.
