2.1 - How To set-up TEOS Reception

TEOS Manage contains a reception add-on. This add-on has the option to link text and email messages. This guide describes how you can create a TEOS Reception solution.

Requirements

If you want to create a TEOS Reception solution you need to meet the following requirements:

  • Have a TEOS Manage server installed

  • Have a device with a Signage or tablet license

  • Access to the TEOS Manage server

  • Have email/SMS configured in case notifications need to be send, see related articles

1) To create a new reception open the “Workplace Solutions” menu:

2) Next go to the “Receptions” menu

3) Select the button “New Reception” to create a new solution

4) For your reception you need to fill in a name, it is also possible to use an agreement page, print a badge, send a text and/or email when a visitor arrives.

4a) In case you want to send email notifications enable the checkbox “Send email notification”, do not forget to enter a default email address. For SMS notifications select the “Send SMS notification” checkbox.

4b) In case you want to use the agreement page select the checkbox “Use agreement page“, after saving an additional page will become visible which can be edited.

5) Once everything has been configured you can select “Save”. Your reception has now been created.

Important
If you enable email notifications, make sure your users in TEOS are set-up with correct email addresses.
In case you have finished the steps you can assign your TEOS reception to your device!
